LE FUT' pattern - make the pants or shorts of your dreams!

Patron LE FUT' - réalisez le pantalon ou le short de vos rêves !

Do you dream of sewing the perfect pants?? The one that gives you a pretty silhouette, pants that are flattering but not tight, both casual and dressy? Look no further, we have what you need!! Here is "LE FUT", the pattern that gives you a dream body and a chic and cool look at the same time! We wear it a little low waisted (but not too much either), rolled up at the bottom or not, and off we go!
The Fut' is also available in a SHORT version, with a choice of 2 finishes: large folded lapels at the bottom, or small bows that are too cute to tie...

Zoom on THE PANTS:

LE FUT is therefore trousers with 2 pleats in front, and small darts in the back, a belt that you can welt all the way, and an invisible zipper on the side!

I sewed it for the first time in camel-colored cotton poplin:

With a "Lipstick" top and sandals, it's just perfect and very comfortable to wear! You can roll it up like in the picture or wear it full length (to the ankles) for a more classic result...

Here is a more tropical version, in a light fabric (a kind of viscose) and colorful:

And in the same fabric, but in black! With golden piping to enhance everything!

And here are THE SHORTS:

I chose a white damask cotton, quite thick, and which looks good for the classic version with cuffs:

A second creation in turquoise linen:

And here is the version with the little bows on the side:

Like our other women's patterns, LE FUT is available from size 34 to 56.

This is a PDF pattern downloadable online (no cover version planned).

Three sizes are available:
Size 34-46 at €8.90
Size 48-56 at €8.90
PACK Sizes 34-56 at €10.90

It is aimed at seamstresses with a rather advanced level, but if you already have some sewing basics and are motivated, you can also start! The realization requires a little experience for some "technical" points: fitting an invisible zipper, fitting piping...
The booklet provides detailed explanations and assembly diagrams for each step.

When it comes to fabrics, there are quite a few choices available to you : cotton poplin, linen, velvet, even fine wool for a winter version...
You can also opt for a lighter fabric such as printed viscose or rayon: your "Fut'" will then have a more fluid drape, perfect for summer! This is the case, for example, of the 2 pants with tropical prints that I presented to you above...

Yardage level, it takes between 150 cm (for sizes 34 and 36) ) 2 m of fabric (for other sizes) to make the pants; and 80 cm to sew the shorts.

Seam allowances are included in the pattern.

    Which size to choose?
"Le Fut" are trousers that are worn slightly low on the waist; this is why I advise you to first measure your "low" waist circumference, i.e. 2 cm below the navel: this is where the top of the belt will be.

You will find in the product sheet 2 useful tables to choose your sewing size:
    - the measurements (low waist and hip measurement)
    - the "Fut" measurements once sewn: waist, thigh, total length etc.
This will allow you to choose your size to the nearest cm, by comparing these measurements with your measurements, and possibly with pants that fit you well!
Be aware that overall, the "Chut Charlotte" patterns are rather generous, and a 38 is therefore a good 38. In general, you can choose the same size as the one you buy in stores, it should fit!

I hope I made you want to sew yourself a FUT, in pants, shorts, for work, your holidays, your walks! Don't hesitate to ask me questions if you have any!

Above all, don't hesitate to send me photos of your beautiful creations(contact@chutcharlotte.com), or to "tag" me on social networks!

Merci !!! En tous cas chapeau !!!
