Meeting with Madame Estoy!
Today I am launching a new section on this blog: MEETINGS with sewing enthusiasts who have dared to start and who now live from their activity. I discovered the brand Madame Estoy last year, when it launched on social networks. I was immediately seduced by its magnificent leather sandals (entirely made in France and by hand), and impressed by the very professional side of this young brand: beautiful photos, a video which shows the different stages of creation, a clear and daring positioning (tailor-made sandals in a large number of colors)… Since then, I ordered a pair of leather sandals...
Blouses to sew this fall!
Sewing a blouse: we often start with this when you start sewing for yourself, and start making your own clothes... A blouse is the perfect item of clothing to have in your wardrobe: wear it with jeans, slightly dressy pants (a Fut' for example!), a flowing or tight skirt. .. It goes with everything, and it changes basic t-shirts! Why?
It's faster for you: you order your pattern, and instantly receive your pattern in your mailbox!
It's more ecological: we don't print thousands of pages that then lie dormant in the workshop...
TUTO Dress "Vas-y Frunce"
I sewed myself a dress in the spring using the VAS-Y FRONCE pattern!
Nothing could be simpler: I just lengthened the blouse by 26 cm, by extending the side lines, and I shortened the sleeves by 25 cm to have 3/4 sleeves...
The result is:
I added the explanations in the pattern booklet, with photos to make it clear!
And for the record, the sleeves of the VAS-Y FRONCE pattern have been widened by 2 cm, for more comfort!
