NEW Pattern "Lady of Hearts"!!

NOUVEAU Patron "Dame de Coeur" !!

I'm here today to show you my first sewing pattern for women: "Dame de Coeur"! A wrap blouse that ties on the side, with lots of pretty details to have fun: a yoke on the top, small gathers, piped sleeve bracelets, and a rounded cutout on the front... This blouse, I imagined it just after the birth of Zélie, when I was looking for pretty clothes to breastfeed... The blouse is put on over the head (the right side is sewn in the side seams), and is closes at the front with a pretty bow...
Two sleeve lengths are available:
- short sleeves with sleeve bracelets
- 3/4 sleeves for chillier days !

I started by sewing a version in Liberty Mitsi, with neon pink piping so that it flashed well ;-)

Here is the blouse worn with my matching espadrilles (available in the boutique here):

Then I sewed a 2nd version, in sky blue dots this time, and white piping:

The fabric comes from the site "Les coupons de St Pierre", and I'm very happy with this satin...

The left side is edged with Liberty Capel bias (but we can't see it, we're just guessing!!), and the hem at the bottom of the blouse too:

Some questions you might ask yourself:

- What level is it?
The blouse is not very difficult to put on; there are just a few technical points: rounded bias binding, piping (optional), seam of the back yoke "in a sheath" so that there is no visible stitching... I would say it's a perfect model for an intermediate level, but a motivated beginner should be able to get by with the explanations provided (diagrams + photos for the delicate points)...

- What sizes are available?
The pattern is available from size 34 to size 52! It seemed important to me to offer a wide choice of sizes, because it's a shape that highlights all silhouettes... Indeed, the cut is rather straight, slightly adjusted but slightly. The knot on the side brings a very feminine touch, but it's not the classic wrap that cinches the waist (personally, I'm not a fan of clothes that mark the waist too much!)...

For more readability of the boards, I had to separate the pattern into 2. The "classic" pattern goes from size 34 to 46, because it seemed important to me to offer this usual sampling of sizes. And there is a 2nd board sizes 48-52. The all-size "pack" goes from 34 to 52.

- How much does it cost?
The PDF pattern sizes 34-46 and 48-52 are at €8.90 (like "Mademoiselle"), and the pack of all sizes is €10.90.
The clutch bag is €14 for sizes 34-46.

- When is it coming out?
The PDF version is available, and you can download your pattern immediately after purchase! So you can sew your "Dame de coeur" blouse tonight ;-)
The pocket pattern is currently on pre-order. It will be available within 2 weeks.

- The yardage
You need about 160 cm of fabric for the short-sleeved version, and 180 cm for the long-sleeved version.
You can sew " Dame de coeur" in light cotton (plumetis, cambric, Liberty, etc.) or thicker poplin type; a viscose, crepe, or even jersey provided that there is little elasticity (otherwise, the seam of the rounded side risks being complicated).I haven't tried the double gauze yet because of this rounded cut, but it could be pretty!

So, do you like this first pattern for women?? I suggest others in your opinion??

If you want to order the pattern, it's over here !
Thank you!!!

See you soon and happy sewing!
