The "Miss Zelie" Dress

Here is the last pattern for children/babies: the "MISS ZELIE" DRESS!

I first designed this dress for the baptism of Zélie, our youngest... I wanted a rather refined dress (without lace and stripes!), but still worked and with pretty details... There is therefore a big knot on the front, caught in a set of folds, and frills on the shoulders. I also added little white pompoms at the bottom:

Tech Info:

• Patron "Miss Zélie Bébé" size 6 months.
• Fabric: white cotton piqué (Les coupons de St Pierre).
• Changes made: I lengthened the 6-month size by ten cms for a "baptism" effect

I then made a second version in satin stitch with a magical color, peach-salmon:

The bottom of the dress is decorated with 3 religious pleats (which you can also avoid if you are lazy!):

The back closes with a button placket taken in the middle seam, and 3 small buttons:
