Hello everyone!
I'm back today to tell you about the "Four Seasons" pattern, which I modified to make it a dress version! It's super simple!
I just lengthened the sides by 24cm; and presto: a new dress!
I used tencel denim blue, found on the "les coupons de st pierre" website: it's a super comfortable fabric to wear, very fluid, sweet, in short, I am conquered! I was a little afraid that it would be difficult to cut and sew but not even!
To go with it, I dug into my sky blue Liberty Eloïse scraps... And that way, my dress matches my espadrilles, it's perfect!!!
I added a belt to make it a little more becoming (and because I love wearing belts a little on the hips with my dresses!); I didn't have enough Liberty left so I cut it out of tencel.
Practical information
- Fabric used: Blue tencel
- Medium used: 190 cm * width
- Dimensions of the belt: 190 cm x 11 cm
- Modifications compared to the pattern: top version lengthened by 24 cm; adding a belt
- "Autumn" length sleeves
- Thermo-bonded facing (on Liberty lining only), so that it holds up a little better
There, you know everything!
I hope this version will make you want to get started and sew yourself a "Four Seasons" dress!
