A Lace Top (Bali Combi pattern)

You know, I like experimenting with Couture! Sewing new materials, making unlikely combinations with my Balinese fabrics... ;-)

During the last Combi Bali Live, I had an idea: make a Top out of it, in 2 different materials: the front in a classic fabric, and the back in lace. Yes, Madam, perfectly!

Besides, my daughter Zélie thinks I'm going to a "ceremony" because here in Bali, women wear lace tops for religious ceremonies ;-) 🙏

To make a Top from the Combi Bali pattern, it's simple: just add 10 cm to the bottom...
I have also modified the front and the back so that they are less low-cut, by adding 20 cm on the top of each small side... This allows you to obtain a much less low-cut top, wearable with a classic bra, and that seemed more careful with lace ;-)

In case you want to sew the same top, I'll put the diagrams of my modifications for you to make it clearer!

So I added 20 cm on the short sides, drawing a straight line perpendicular to the bottom of the front and the top...

Don't forget to add 10 cm at the bottom so that your top isn't too short!

So, what do you think?? Is it portable in your opinion? Should I keep this top?
